In 2002, a new partnership with a new direction was formed from the original company by a group of Law Enforcement Professionals, led by Ed Johnston (pictured). Our main mission is to provide the best security and law enforcement services to the public, whereby the general public could feel confident in making the best decisions for their personal safety.

In 1992, the company grew by providing additional services in protection patrol and investigations. The company's primary function is to provide service to corporations and insurance companies.

API Security Services & Investigations acquired additional patrol accounts in 1993 from a company formerly called Central City Security. Central City Security had been in existence over thirty years at the time.
